Bon Appétit Culinary & Wine Focus In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Bon Appétit magazine, the country’s most celebrated chefs and entertaining personalities are pairing up. The September 8th-9th weekend features culinary and wine workshops, special access moments, seminars and tastings, a special Bon Appétit afternoon stroll along Rodeo Drive, and an unforgettable Grand Tasting with 50 world-renowned chefs. A portion of the proceeds to benefit Chefs for Humanity.

Drummer in Phillipine Cultural PerformanceIn the Port area during September 9th-10th enjoy this festival in celebration of both modern and traditional Philippine Art and Culture. The festival features visual arts, dance, theater, literary arts, film, and culinary arts. Visitors can also participate in activities and contests or purchase art, clothing, or crafts from the wide array of vendors.

Spotlight/Ticket Giveaway: Vaudeville Extravaganza!

Vaudeville Extravaganza!Alex Film Society offers you the chance to win tickets to its seventh annual celebration of Vaudeville! The show is a “hurricane of fun and frolic” paying tribute to the Alex’s vaudeville roots. The one-night-only event is an eclectic mix of the sort of variety acts that made vaudeville so beloved by a generation of fans.

Opening the show will be the enchanting ukulele chanteuse and her intriguing gentlemen, Janet Klein and Her Parlor Boys. The event also features Davis & Faversham’s tribute to Abbott & Costello, juggler Beejay Joyer, Harmonica player Michael Greiner, and Stoil & Ekateria.

Tickets are valid for September 16th at 8:00pm!
